Evaluations for team placement are held over the summer during our multiple weeks of Summer Intensive Sessions.
Dancers interested in our Mini or Junior teams are required to attend 2 different weeks of intensives. Dancers interested in our Teen or Elite teams are required to attend 3 different weeks of intensives. Dancers interested in participating In our High School team, only need to attend one week of summer intensive classes.
Any returning company members who attend an accredited week of intensive classes at an alternate studio, may ask for approval to use that as a credit towards one week of TDS intensives.
Details about our Black Friday event used for finalizing placement, the eventual team rosters and information regarding our mandatory parent meeting for company dancers will be communicated by the studio through email once a dancer has completed their intensives.
We are excited to be bringing back our Tap Workshop this summer.
Our Master Hip Hop Teacher Keith Green will walk you through a week of Wise Words. Dancers will learn the art behind choreography composition, transitions and their important role in hip hop, visuals and how they can make or break your routine, and of course, stage presence. Keith will guide you on the importance of cleaning technique and how the fundamentals are never to be overlooked! At the end of each week, in each division, Keith will be giving away a free 30 min photo shoot with Rhianna Lee Photography and an original piece of artwork created by Mr. Keith himself.

We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to make some of our own costumes our students wear. We love to pass this knowledge on to our students. Students will start by learning with the traditional needle and thread by hand. Then they will learn how to cut out simple patterns and put them together on a sewing machine. By the end of the week, students will have put together 4-5 projects.
