It is very important when choosing a studio to make sure their teaching staff knows what they're doing. You do not want someone under the age of 18 teaching your child. Even if the child is only 3 years of age.
Read the staff bios and make sure they have extensive history in the dance industry. Even with a class of beginners you still want an experienced teacher.
When choosing a dance studio there are certain things a parent needs to look for. Extra care should be placed into choosing the proper training program for your child. Dance education is like any other education program; you want only the best.
We, here at The Dance Space, guarantee that your child will receive each teacher's best training, attitude, and intentions. We promise to provide each child both mentally and physically with the upmost importance. The dancer comes first.
With our brand new amazing studio you will have no problem being safe and feeling welcome. In a studio you want to make sure the dance floors are sprung, the mirrors are large and clean, and the ballet barres are securely fastened to the wall. When building our new facility we made sure to provide all these necessities.
In a studio the parents should also feel welcomed. We made sure to provide adaquate view areas with couches and stools for your viewing pleasure.
Not every dancer starts out as a professional. There is an art to the training process. When looking for a dance studio you want to make sure there is just as much interest put into the recreation students as there is to the committed students. Proper training is vital no matter what age or level the student is at. This is also why it is very important that all teachers at all levels are experienced in their art form.
What do you think when you first walk in the door? Is the studio inviting? Impressionable? Is this a place you would want your child representing? When looking for the right dance studio you want to not only have great teachers but a great staff also. The front desk staff should be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and feel like family.
There are many studios to choose from and some might be more convenient than others, but convenience should not be the only factor when finding the best place for your child's dance education.
